smile project :D

Attention to all Form 3, 4 and 5 LEO members!

A ‘Smile!’ project will be held from 23-25 February 2010. We are currently seeking for committee members to help out in this project. Committee members are required to sacrifice recess time and stay back after school till 1.45pm. Firstly, we need a photographer (preferably with a DSLR). Besides that, we need at least another 3 members to assist the photographer per day. These 3 members will be managing the forms, money collected and also help out in the distribution of ‘smile badges’. Also, an AOC (Assistant Organizing Chairperson) is needed. This AOC has to be free during all recess time and after school till 1.45pm for the 4 days this project will be held.

Members who are interested, please drop an email to Lum Sher Nie (5 Ang) at sher_nie@hotmail.com by this Sunday, 21-2-2010.

There will be Leos around, if you (non leos are welcomed) are interested to participant and SMILE , please approach them :D

warning : if your name isn't written out means you failed your interview so 2nd interview will be on during the next General meeting which falls on the 25 February (Thursday) so be prepared. 2nd interview is going to tougher!!

[1st General Meeting & Interview]

well~ it has been a pretty interesting day.

a big THANK YOU to those who attended and actually came prepared for the interview. to those who were not prepared... thanks for attending it anyway :D

the interview wasnt THAT hard was it? and the BODs were not THAT scary either kan? xD we're nice people! whom you dont want to get on the bad side of, but still~

what was particularly painful was when the question asked: "Who is this BOD?" and the person did not know. ouch~

especially: "Who is the IT Director?

"Uh... ALICE CHEW."

what was unbelievable was that one particular group did not know who our dearest president is. well done la.

and i would like to point out~ one thing ALL the interviewees had in common was that they ensured us that they will be committed, attend all the meetings, join the projects, come for IU day~ well we'll just have to see.

hey guys! it's been a while ^^ we're already in our 2nd week of school and co-curriculum activities have started~ our first general meeting of the year will be NEXT WEEK however, so just stay posted for further news or pop by the Leo Board in school now and then :D

okay, drawing your attention to the main topic of this post:

AIESEC Taylor University College would be organizing a blazing red-night-themed charity dinner " THE RED NIGHT" in support of PT Foundation Malaysia.

It's guaranteed FUN! (all italics are quotes from the actual email)

Amongst the highlight of the events include exciting dance performances, wushu demonstration & local popular band performances to keep you entertained the whole night long. To top it up, a dedicated dance floor would be opened up and the music cranked up for all you to let loose and sashay to the music!

Venue: Taylor's University College, Subang Jaya

Before you hesitate about the price (coz that's what most of us will do when we see costs), i would like to remind you that this is a CHARITY DINNER.
