On a bright sunny morning on the 12th of August, perfectly suitable for a basketball tourney to be held. Jasslyn Hay from the Leo Club of SMK USJ 8 organized a Leo Basketball Tourney to gather and foster the bonds between Leos from 14 different clubs. 2 members from the Leo Club of SMKDJ signed up and gathered as early as 8 in the morning at the USJ 14 basketball court for registration. The atmosphere when we first got there was intense; people had already started training their basketball skills for early preparation. The two of us were both divided into respective teams. The first match started roughly around 9am. During the games, we faced countless obstacles as some didn’t know how to tackle the skill of playing. But more importantly was that we experienced the intensity of basketball. A total of 12 teams, played with their upmost sportsmanship. To sum it up, it was a remarkable experience getting to not only knows more about basketball but to also build new relationship with other Leos.
