Hey Leos,

What are you willing to do to save the planet? Would you get a panda tattoo if 100 friends agreed to recycle? (just kidding) Shave your head male pattern baldness style? Run a marathon?

Submit your challenge by posting a video on youtube. It should go something like this.

After submitting your challenge post your video on the Leo SMKDJ Facebook page

So what are you waiting for? Do something awesome for the environment and get something awesome in return.

You can also visit http://www.youtube.com/user/earthhour/iwiyw for more details and ideas.

Chinese New Year Decoration

Chinese New Year Decoration (19/01/2012)

Organizing chairperson: Leo Christopher Wong Poh Fai
Venue: SMK Damansara Jaya Canteen

On the 19th of January, Leo Club of SMK Damansara Jaya carried out a project to decorate the school canteen for Chinese New Year. We chose the canteen out of all the other school compounds was because the canteen is the most crowded location in the entire school as students will spend their precious recess time with their friends. The fellow Leo club members gathered in the canteen at 2pm that day for a slight briefing before our decorating the canteen. The Leo members made all kinds of lanterns, fishes and other decorations with red angpow packets. The decorations were placed in a creative order; some were pasted on the wall, while some were hung on top of the ceiling of the canteen.  Leo members were also satisfied as the whole project was carried out smoothly. Leo Club would also like to express our gratitude to the Canteen Committee/ Ahli Jawatan Kuasa Kantin for sponsoring us with angpow decorations.
