On the 21 August 2013, the Leo Club of SMK Damansara Jaya realized that the school’s pond became very dirty so Leo Solomon decided to call up a few members to come to school to clean up the pond.
After awhile, we realized that the pond was very dirty because the filter is not clean. We took out the heavy bags of coral bags from the filter and start to wash it together. On the other hand, some of them went into to the pond to pick up some rocks and rubbish that some irresponsible students threw inside.
After a few hours, the coral bags were cleaned and we put it back nicely into the pond. Our leo advisor told us that we will have to wait for a few days to see the pond to take effects. Everyone went home with muds and dirts covered all over their shirts and pants. Most importantly, all of us learnt a lot of new knowledge and we also had loads of fun.

The Lion advisor, teacher advisor and the organizing chairperson discussed and went off to Sungai Buloh to visit the plant nurseries to survey the price of the plants. Once they have confirmed the price and amount of plants needed, they placed their order. On the 22nd of August, the plants were delivered and the project was carried out smoothly with the help of the club members.
