When the school revamped all of the boards in our school for the upcoming Form 1 orientation, we took this opportunity to redesign our board. We took over the new board in the tunnel, enabling our members to have a good view of the board for information and notifications, while our previous board was in a restricted location. We redesign it to look like the popular social network, Facebook as most of our members are familiar with the layout. The parody design was called “Leobook”. After rearranging all the necessary parts, we started pasting it up piece by piece. The final outcome was just like what we expected.

It was our last day of examination, four of us, Leo Liew Cherng Qing, Leo Solomon Tneo, Leo Ng Coshyn, Leo Jonathan Pang decided to stay back in school to help to do some maintenance work to our Leo Pond and Leo Garden. Some naughty students threw stones into our Leo Pond ever since the pond was cleaned, because of this, we decided to bring extra clothes, so that we can go inside the pond to pick up the rubbish and stones.
Next, due to hot weather and no proper care because of our examination, the plants in our Leo Garden wilt a little.
The organizing chairperson of the Leo Garden project, Leo Ng Coshyn, decided to trim the wilted part of the plants and add more fertilizers into the plants so that the plant will grow well.
A few days later, the pond is cleaned because the teachers warned the students not to throw rubbish into the pond and the plants in our Leo Garden grew well and the teacher praised us for our commitment and responsibility.

Venue : SMK Damansara Jaya
Organizing Chairperson : Leo Kate Poon Wai Kay

This project was carried out to raise funds for the Leo Club. A few of the members and I came up with the idea of selling tote bags as the tote bags are a trend among students especially for girls. First and foremost, we planned and searched for information before hand. We gathered ideas, looked up for contacts and bargained with the supplier forbest prices. We looked for the most appropriate and suitable designs. Then, we collected the stocks and send it for printing. We gave out flyers for all the classes in the morning sessions and had spread the word even to other schools. We collected the money before giving out the bags. Students were happy and satisfied with the product. Overall, it was a successful event as everything went well as planned.

After awhile, we realized that the pond was very dirty because the filter is not clean. We took out the heavy bags of coral bags from the filter and start to wash it together. On the other hand, some of them went into to the pond to pick up some rocks and rubbish that some irresponsible students threw inside.
After a few hours, the coral bags were cleaned and we put it back nicely into the pond. Our leo advisor told us that we will have to wait for a few days to see the pond to take effects. Everyone went home with muds and dirts covered all over their shirts and pants. Most importantly, all of us learnt a lot of new knowledge and we also had loads of fun.
