SMKDJ Leo Year End Party

A year end party for Leos of SMKDJ.
This event will be on 5th of November ( Monday ) from  8 till 12.30
The location of this party will be at Bukit Kiara Park

B is the location and it's called Taman Tun Park. 

The party is organized for you to have fun ( you don't say ).
And yea, our PR promise you that you will go back with something that you will never expect.

If you want, you can bring your mineral water! And other sports equipment like ice skates, any type of balls that you can play with and etc etc.

There will be also this activity called "Treasure Hunt". There is no information on how to play treasure hunt as it is kept a secret. There will be groups of 2 and ou may give your group name, example: How I Met: *Your Name ( It would like a clan! ) to Leo Solomon Tneo Yruan Rui by posting on the event wall which you can find just below this sentence.

Community Service Program

Hey Everyone!

There is an upcoming Community Services Program by Leo SMKDJ, to tutor & associate with the children from Taman Megah Welfare Home.

We need mentors/tutors who are willing to contribute one ( or more ) day per week, from the first week of November ( 5th ) to the first week of December ( 5th ), to dedicate your generous service to these hearty children.

If you are interested in joining, you can contact Leo Tee Ke Hui from 4 Belian or Leo Sam Lim from 3 Baai to register as mentor/tutor. You need only to give us your name, class, school and contact number as of now.

We'll update you while registration forms and indemnity forms are sent for approval. 

Meanwhile, you can also decide on the subjects/skills/games/activity you wish to teach and your available time.

There will be a section in the forms inquiring for those details.

Leo Leadership Camp 2012 -

Venue: Kem Bina Semangat, Ampang Pecah, Kuala Kubu Bharu, Selangor Darul Ehsan
Date: 24th November till 29th November 2012
Duration: 6 Days 5 Nights




Camp Participation Fees -
Total Amount Payable: Rm240
All payment by cheque are to be made payable to Lions Club of Petaling Jaya




Registration & Indemnity Form - 
All participants are required to fill in and return all the duly completed form, as stated below: 

A. Application Form

- Letter of Authorisation

B. Indemnity Form
- Letter of Indemnity to be signed by your parents/guardian & participants

Day = Morning > Afternoon > Evening
Day 1 - Registration / Ice-Breaking > Trust Fall / Flying Fox > Paint The Flag 
Day 2 - Rappelling / High Rope > Rafting > Cobweb
Day 3 - Jungle Trekking > River Trekking & Crossing > Camping / Camp Fire
Day 4 - 12' Wall / Minefield > Obstacle Course > Free Activity
Day 5 - Kayaking / Plug the Hole > Certificate / Award Presentation & Appreciation Session > Farewell Night
Day 6 -  Home Sweet Home




Transportation -
Transportation arrangement will be made to charter a school bus to ferry all the participants to and from the camp premises. Two scheduled pick-up points will be located at the following places: - 

Point 1 -  A&W Car Park ( Between - LRT Station / Amcorp Mall ), 8a.m., 24.11.2012 (Sat )
Point 2 -  Jalan 22A/1, Damansara Jaya ( SMKDJ , 8.20a.m., 24.11.2012 ( Sat )

- Track Suit ( Jungle Trekking ) [ 1 pair ]
- Track Bottom [ 3 pairs ]
- Swimming Suit / Trunk [ 1 pair ]
- Jeans ( Fellowship / Indoor Games ) [ 2 pairs ]
- Rubber / Canvas Shoes ( School / Jogging / Sport Shoes ) [ 3 pairs ]
- Rubber Slipper /Sandal ( For Wet Ground ) [ 1 pair ]
- Socks [ 4 pairs ] 
- Bathing Towels [ 2 please ]

For Closing Session & Certificate Presentation
- Club Uniform & Vest
