Hey Leos,

Referring to the previous post, you should all know by now that we will be having our BOD interview this coming Thursday during GM.
Besides preparing your resume, this is what u guys have to prepare if you are applying for key officers. For those applying for directors please refer to the post below.

The tailors are coming this Thursday! Members that want to get installed please make sure to attend.

And to those who are going forum this year, forum ferry fare for one way is RM15, RM18. Please pay to Leo Joy Chua by Thursday!

Dress-code for IU Day 2012 (Take Away)!

Hey guys!

Yes it's what you guys have been waiting to see!
It's pictures of example of outfits for our Take Away IU Day! (28th April 2012)

The BODs had a day trip to places that suites our IU Day theme perfectly and took some adorable pictures for you! Now you can refer the outfits and start preparing one for yourself! :)

General Meeting on Thursday! (19 April 2012)

Hi guys!

So this Thursday (19 April 2012) will be our GM as usual!

Nonetheless, it's also the interview for key officers!
or also interview for board of directors just for those who missed the first round last week!

For those that are interested in the interview, PLEASE:-

1) prepare and TYPE all the document needed to apply for the respective post and also include a photo.

2) follow the methods below to hand in your documents:

a) email a soft copy of your resume and documents BY 7PM. this Wednesday, to

Board of Directors 2012/2013 Recruitment Drive

Date: 12/4/12  (Thursday)
Time: 2:00 - 5:00pm
Venue: 3 Cengal 


For the resume format, please refer to http://leosmkdj.blogspot.com/2011/03/example-of-resume-for-bod-interview.html. And each post requires certain type of materials to be prepared as along with your resume. So have you guys decided which post you want? If you do, please contact/find the BODs (the ones having the post you want) and ask them about more details and also the materials that you need to prepare for the interview!



Please note that 12/4/12 is a BOD interview only for the DIRECTORS

These are some of the preparations you have to prepare for your application:
School & Social Services : A list of projects you wish to carry out (School Based and Community Service) AND THINK OUT OF THE BOX :) (MIN ONE PROJECT PER MONTH)
Health & Environmental Services : A list of projects you wish to carry out (Health & Environmental Projects) AND THINK OUT OF THE BOX :) (MIN ONE PROJECT PER MONTH)
I.T. Director: A few drafts of new ideas on the club blog and club notice board in school. Best if you can prepare anything you designed yourself, eg: poster, tickets, badges etc. (Preparations to design for future Leo events.)
Fundraising Director: A list of projects you wish to carry out (Fundraising projects to raise funds for the club) AND THINK OUT OF THE BOX :) (MIN ONE PROJECT PER MONTH)
Membership Director: Ways to increase member involvement in club activities. Ways to increase quality members. Draft for a membership drive.
Tamer & Tail Twister: Activities and bonding sessions for members during General Meetings as well as outdoor events. Prove to us that you can control a crowd with your voice.

General Meeting on 5/04/12

So there's GM this thursday (5th April) and make sure you'll be there cause we are doing a really adorable and fun project!

It's an AUCTION OF YOUR LEO BUDDIES for a week! ;) SOUNDS SO FUN RIGHT?!
Just think about all the fun you can have spending time with them! It might also start a good friendship! ;)

This event is the collaboration of our annual Youth Night and International Understanding Day to make it a better event. The main purpose we held this event is to raise funds that will be used to help those who needs it. There will be a variety of food, exciting performances, fun games and of course, mysteries.

Blind Leading the Blind.

Hi!

We're here to remind you that the Blind Leading the Blind donation form is due tomorrow! Please pass it up to Leo Christina Choo (5 Belian, 0172021117)

Nonetheless, the 9th Annual Blind Leading the Blind Charity Walk is held on the 15th of April! Details are as follow:

Date: 15th April 2012
Time: 7.00am
Venue: Dewan Sivik, Petaling Jaya

Prizes for this competition as follows:
·         Champion: Challenge Trophy + RM400 contributed to the club's Project Account
·         1st Runner-up: RM300 contributed to the club's Project Account
·         2nd Runner-up: RM200 contributed to the club's Project Account
·         4th Place: RM100 contributed to the club's Project Account
To encourage higher number of participants to the walk, we have decided to introduce an extra incentive of RM300 and RM200 to the top 2 clubs with the highest number of registered walk-participants.
